This Sunday night is our next gathering in our last chapter.

This is us ending our story the same way we began—with a simple and shared life around the table, with a focus on relationships, and the desire to simply be present.

We will be meeting at 6 pm, so RSVP for location.

IMAGINE’s last Sunday is going to be May 29th.

We announced Sunday night that Imagine is in it’

We announced Sunday night that Imagine is in it’s final chapter.

While we will have more to share about this in the near future—we are so grateful for our journey with Imagine and have embraced the grief of the process from entering into the final chapter of something you love and have given so much of your life to.

With a sense from the beginning we would lead Imagine for about ten years (we are in our tenth year of moving back right now), the challenges, losses, and changes during Covid, and an energized imagination for our life after Imagine, we know the time has come to end this amazing chapter, and follow the Spirit into the next one.

We are going to bring Imagine “home” for the next 6 months of this final chapter to end our story the same way we began—with a simple and shared life around the table, with a focus on relationships, and the desire to simply be present.

While we are not saying any goodbyes yet, we did want to let everyone know where we are during this heavy and holy season.

And to anyone who has ever been a part of our community, no matter how long it’s been, please know you are more than welcome to come by our place any Sunday night and talk, sing, laugh, remember, grieve, and celebrate as we finish the last chapter of our story the next 6 months.

Advent is God asking: “What do you really want?”

What are crying out for right now? If you really took a risk and we’re honest, what do you really want? From God? From Life? So often when people are sharing about life, and it’s complex, and overwhelming, I just ask the question: What do you want

Advent confronts our niceness. Advent confronts our pleasantries. Advent challenges all of the ways we are just going through the motions! Where do you really desire to see change? Where do you need to see something new happen

Advent is saying stop going through the motions and wake up and say out loud what it is that you long for in this world and in your life.

ADVENT is the season to ask for big things. This

ADVENT is the season to ask for big things.

This is the season to allow yourself to dream of things that are beyond what you think are possible. Advent is the season to refuse to just go through the motions, be honest about where you’re at, have the courage to acknowledge what you truly desire, and have that deep internal tenacity to cry out to the God who sees and hears our cry.

So excited to begin our Advent journey tomorrow as

Advent is the time of getting in touch with our desires and crying out to God, of realizing the darkness where we still need the light, and of making more room for Christ to come into our world like He did 2,000 years ago.

It’s so powerful how the Spirit keeps inviting us, keeps calling us forward, and continues to speak directly to the depths of our life.

Last night felt as if the Spirit was reminding us of how far we’ve come, empowering us to live deeply into where we are, and enlightening our eyes to see how it is all connected to the future we desire.
